Keene Elks Lodge 927 has been rooted in the Monadnock Region for well over a century, occupying its home at 81 Roxbury Street long enough that the building itself has become a local landmark. Members gather here not for a transactional experience, but because the lodge represents something harder to find these days: a room full of people who actually know each other's names.

The lodge regularly opens its doors to community events, from sectional bridge tournaments to charitable fundraisers that funnel real dollars back into Keene and surrounding towns. The space is generous, the staff is familiar, and the mission, caring for veterans, supporting youth programs, and strengthening local families, runs through everything that happens here.

Elks Lodge 927 is part of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, one of America's oldest fraternal organizations, but the local chapter makes that national legacy feel personal. Traveling Elks members from across the country are always welcome to visit and present their membership card at the door.

What We Offer

The lodge serves members and guests through a range of programs and facilities anchored in fraternal tradition. The main hall accommodates large gatherings, making it a practical venue for tournaments, banquets, and civic meetings. Traveling members can stop in and enjoy reciprocal privileges, though calling ahead is always a good idea to confirm event schedules.

Community giving is central to the Elks National Foundation mission carried out locally here in Keene, NH. Lodge 927 supports scholarship programs for area students, contributes to veterans' services, and participates in the Elks' national initiatives for drug awareness and youth athletics. Membership opens the door to all of it, along with a built-in social network that spans every zip code in the country.

"We had the opportunity to visit the Keene Elks Lodge for a sectional bridge tournament. The facilities are adequate and provide enough space for everyone who attended. If there was any complaint, it would be that their temperature settings are too cold for a less than active group of people. But it met our needs and we would definitely go back again, but wearing our sweatshirts."

The Elks gave America
Flag Day.

Long before it was a national observance, the Order set aside June 14th to honor the flag. Patriotism has always been one of our cardinal principles, and every lodge meeting still closes the same way it has for over a century.
